The conference will take place in the building of the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Address: 72 Nowy Świat street, Warsaw.
The venue, is located next to the Nowy Świat – Uniwersytet underground station and is close to several stops of popular bus lines, including direct lines from the airport and the Central railway station.
How to get to the venue
From the Warsaw Chopin Airport:
By bus: go to bus terminal and take line 175 in the direction of Pl. Piłsudskiego. Get off at Ordynacka, and walk straight ahead for 230m. The main entrance to the building is from Krakowskie Przedmieście street.
By taxi: there is a designated taxi stop at the Arrivals gate. Please use only the recommended taxi services with company logos and price list displayed on the window. The cost of a ride to the city center or the conference venue is about 15 EUR on weekdays.
From the Warsaw Central Railway Station:
By bus: take bus 175 or 128 in the direction of Pl. Piłsudskiego, and get off at Ordynacka.
By taxi: there are usually some taxis next to the main entrance. Please use only corporate taxis with company logos and price list displayed on the window. The average cost of a ride to the venue is approx. 5-7 EUR on a weekday.
Public transport tickets:
There are ticket machines at all major stops (including the airport and the central train station), and most buses and trams also have ticket machines on board, accepting card. We recommend buying a 3-day ticket (Zone 1 only) – it costs 36pln (ab. 8 EUR) and allows you to use all bus, tram, and metro lines for 72hours. The conference venue, the Central Railway Station and the Chopin Airport are in Zone 1.
